Frequently Asked Questions

Got a question? We’re here to help.

  • How did COVID-19 start?

COVID-19 is thought to have originated from a bat-borne virus. In late 2019, the first signs of COVID-19 were discovered in Wuhan, China. They suspect the coronavirus infected humans in a damp market in Wuhan, China. Customers can purchase fresh meat and seafood, as well as live animals, at these markets. Bats, on the other hand, were not sold in these marketplaces. As a result, it's still unclear what caused COVID-19 to spread throughout the human population. More questions about this virus will be answered as more research is done.

  • How do I get tested?

Here at Sterling Rapid Response LLC, our testing services are easy and fast! We believe it is important to provide peace of mind by protecting your friends and family with a cost-effective and fast alternative. You can set up on-site vaccinations with us by submitting a request for a quote, and one of our account managers will respond within 24 hours. Depending on your requirements, we can even personalize the on-site event. You could also stop by our testing facility located at 129 W Kemper Rd. Our on-site facility will take appointments or walk-ins to make it more convenient for you.

  • What are the symptoms of COVID-19?

First and foremost, it is critical to recognize that COVID-19 can impact anyone. Not simply the elderly or those with underlying medical issues. Furthermore, the symptoms can range from moderate to severe in people of all ages. Statistics reveal, however, that older folks and people with substantial underlying medical issues are more likely to experience major consequences.

If you have the virus, you may experience a variety of symptoms, which may not present for 2-14 days after exposure. As a result, you could have the virus and be completely unaware of it for a long period. Furthermore, according to studies, up to 80% of patients with COVID-19 are asymptomatic and unaware of their condition. It's critical to get tested just in case to protect others around you, especially if you spend a lot of time in public and commute to work.

If you do encounter symptoms, below are some of the ones that have been linked to COVID-19. The most common symptoms, however, are shortness of breath and feeling more exhausted than usual.

    • Fever or chills
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • Fatigue
    • Muscle or body aches
    • Headache
    • New loss of taste or smell
    • Sore throat
    • Congestion or runny nose
    • Nausea or vomiting
    • Diarrhea
  • How can I prevent myself from getting COVID-19?

Currently, there is no vaccination available to protect totally against COVID-19. There are, however, a number of steps you may do to reduce your risks of contracting the virus. The coronavirus is transmitted from person to person within a six-foot radius. That is why it is important to keep a distance of six feet between each other. The coronavirus is spread by respiratory droplets seen in coughs, sneezes, or spitting during a conversation. These particles can travel up to six feet in length.

It is best to avoid intimate contact with others in order to protect oneself. You should also disinfect locations that have been touched by others because, depending on the surface material, the virus might stay on surfaces for days. When around others, it's also necessary to cover your mouth and use a mask to prevent the spread of respiratory droplets. Last but not least, wash your hands! To be comprehensive, this should be done for at least 20 seconds. You can also use a hand sanitizer that has at least 60% alcohol. Also, try to avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth as much as possible, as these are the locations where the virus will enter your body.

  • Who should not get vaccinated?

At Sterling Rapid Response, we strive to maintain ethical medical standards for all of our mobile vaccine drives. While vaccinations are necessary to prevent diseases such as Covi-19 from spreading, these individuals should not get vaccinated unless their physician deems otherwise:

Individuals who are highly allergic or have an immediate allergic reaction to any of the ingredients in Pfizer and Modern vaccines.

Individuals who had a severe allergic reaction to the first dose of a vaccine should not get a second one.

Severe allergic reactions can be treated by an EpiPen or with swift medical care. Immediate allergic reactions occur within 4 hours of a shot. Common symptoms include swelling, hives, and respiratory distress.

  • Why should I get on-site vaccinations?

Convenience – Our mobile vaccination team can vaccinate all of your employees at your workplace. They don’t need to travel or miss work to keep up with their shots.

Compliance – All of our staff are vaccinated and our online portal is compliant with medical regulations.

Highly Professional – Our skilled and dedicated team will be at your workplace at the designated time and can set up without assistance.

Cost-efficient – Save money on absenteeism and medical costs by getting employees vaccinated on time.
